Therapeutic Garden Installation - Bethany Good Samaritan Village

All of us who work in and around gardens, know that things like a stressful day at work, or some problem looming on the horizon, become much more manageable after some time spent transplanting, weeding or just soaking our tired feet in our garden pond.
Well, what we have always known is now being proved by science. Study after study clearly points out that working in, sitting by, or even just looking at a garden has therapeutic value for young and old alike.
Understanding this, and recognizing the need for a 'therapuetic' garden located right at their facility, Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd, Minnesota contacted WoodSpirit Gardens to plan and help install a landscape project to fill an important niche in their health care program.
The 'Healing Gardens' project, funded completely by donations, will include pathways, an above ground water garden, gazebo, pergola, tool shed, raised gardens and a green house/conservatory.
